New Patients at Wilson Chiropractic Clinic
Your First Visit
When you come to Wilson Chiropractic Clinic for the first time, our friendly front desk staff will greet you and make you feel right at home. We’ll have some paperwork for you to complete, so we ask that you arrive about 15 minutes before your appointment time. Our staff will help you with any insurance questions you may have.
Next, you’ll go into an exam room with one of our chiropractors. They’ll take their time talking with you to get to know you and understand what has prompted you to seek our care. They’ll answer any of your questions and explain how chiropractic may be able to help with your situation. Then they’ll do a thorough examination. If X-rays are needed, we will take those onsite.
Based on your examination and any X-rays, your chiropractor will tailor care to your specific needs and goals. You’ll go into the treatment room, where you will receive your first adjustment. We have several therapy bays as well, and you will receive whatever therapy is appropriate for your needs, such as ultrasound, interferential therapy, ice, decompression or traction.
This first visit takes between 30 minutes and one hour, depending on your condition and the therapies you receive.

Your Second Visit
At your second visit, we’ll evaluate how your body responded to the first adjustment and therapies. We’ll then adjust you accordingly and provide any needed therapies. This visit is about 30 minutes.
Offering Comprehensive Care
Most chiropractic offices in Anderson County do not offer the range of therapies that we offer. And we are the only office in southeast Kansas with an Institute of Functional Medicine Certified Provider.
